The Role
As a member of our high-impact startup team, you will play a key role in our daily operations and long-term strategic planning, and you will have the opportunity to make a visible and meaningful impact every day. We are seeking a versatile generalist with a strong focus on customer service to ensure exceptional experiences for our customers and a go-getter mindset to contribute to the overall success of our business. You will get close interaction with our CEO and senior leadership team, with exposure to highly strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
1. Customer Service
- Responding promptly and professionally to customer deliveries, pickups and inquiries
- Collaborating closely with the warehouse team to ensure timely order processing, shipment, and delivery, and addressing any order-related concerns
- Resolving issues through various channels (tickets, emails, chat, etc.)
2. Digital Product Support
- Assisting the digital product team with various projects, including site merchandising and content management, to enhance the customer experience and drive sales
- Conducting quality assurance checks and testing to ensure the smooth functioning of digital products and identifying areas for improvement
3. Strategic Projects
- Support research, analyzing data, and providing insights to support decision-making and drive the success of strategic projects
- Participating in strategic initiatives to test and explore new business opportunities, contributing to the growth and expansion of the company
4. CEO Collaboration
- Working closely with the CEO during the zero-to-one phase of new initiatives, contributing ideas, insights, and recommendations to shape and execute the company's vision
- Providing project management support and assisting in the development of business plans, financial models, and presentations to stakeholders
Qualifications
- Proficiency in using customer service software, digital tools, and productivity software
- Proven ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment
- Self-starter with a high level of initiative and a willingness to take on new challenges
- Strong customer service skills with a customer-centric mindset and a passion for delivering exceptional experiences
- Must be based out of New York.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data and metrics to drive insights and make data-informed decisions
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively interact with customers, cross-functional teams, and senior leadership
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience
- 4-6 years of professional experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced startup e-commerce environment
