The California State Lottery is looking to fill the role of a Program Technician for our Chatsworth District Office.
The California State Lottery is seeking an individual with customer service experience handling both in-person and over-the-phone transactions in a professional manner. The individual who fills this role will be the first impression for customers and a valued member of the Lottery.
If you have previous experience or knowledge of;
- Use of office equipment and experience in general office proceduresl
- Customer service; assisting customers over the phone, in person, or a combination of both
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite programs; Word, Excel, etc.

and Duties:
Under the general supervision of the Lottery Manager (Sales), the Program Technician is responsible for performing a variety of duties related to providing specialized technical services to Lottery winners, players, and retailers.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Clerical work experience that includes knowledge of basic research and data gathering and record-keeping techniques.
- Bilingual skills are highly desirable, but not required.
- Detail oriented in work deliverables.
- Knowledge of customer service principles, including the ability to handle challenging customers and retailers while providing service in a professional manner.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of programs including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
