Job levels: Entry to Service Technician II
Responsibilities:
- May provide technical guidance and training to lower-level Service Technicians and support their technical skill development. (depending on the level you are hired for)
- Provide exceptional service to residents and team members.
- May assist in vendor quality management. (depending on the level you are hired for)
- Perform resident-requested repairs and services independently (e.g., HVAC troubleshooting, complex plumbing installations/repairs, electrical component troubleshooting/replacement, household appliance installations/repairs/replacements).
- 0-3+ years of maintenance experience, preferably in a facilities or building environment OR equivalent certification/education
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn
- Desire to grow professionally.
- Receiving an education/training in, knowledgeable in, OR skills in the following trades: plumbing, electrical, appliances, HVAC, etc. (job title and pay will reflect your skills and experience)
As an AIR Service Technician, you'll need:
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, 7-day weeks (as needed), and on-call shifts (at least one week per month) based on community needs and seasonality
- Reliable transportation
- Physical capability to move heavy equipment and machinery
