Job Description

Remote: a hybrid schedule that allows you to work 3 days a week from home
Team size: 6 team members on the BAF internal customer service team
If you like supporting customers, working on a computer doing email and handling complex orders, and solving problems as they arise, we'd love to have you apply!
Team culture: we are a tight-knit team that supports and cares about each other and our customers. The hiring manager is caring, and the team is highly engaged (often getting the highest engagement scores in the company). We also didn't lose any customers during COVID! We have long-standing relationships with our customers and it's critical that this person is truly professional at customer service.
Overtime eligible: Yes, however, we care about work-life balance and work hard to get people out of the office on time.
Day To Day
  • Conduct outbound calls to potential and existing customers to introduce new products and/or inquire about satisfaction with BAF.
  • Actively participate in continuous learning and training utilizing in-house, online, and outside training resources.
  • Foster and maintain solid partnerships between CSRs, Inside and Field Sales, Marketing, Transportation, Finance, and other key functional areas.
  • Maintain thorough working knowledge of products, services, and applicable systems to support BAF's customer base.
  • Responsible for accurate order entry, order traces, order management, and invoicing of all orders received by BAF. Maintain and update all aspects of customer profiles ensuring accurate and current data exists.
  • Provide superior customer service to BAF's internal and external customer base which includes all Foodservice, Retail, and International and Industrial markets.

We're Looking For Someone With
  • 3 years of customer service or equivalent experience; Associate's degree preferred
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Enthusiastic team player with strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of products
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
