The Opportunity
The Customer Service Representative – Domestic is responsible for communicating with and gaining the confidence of both internal and external customers through accurate orders, communication, problem solving and meeting deadlines all while exceeding customer expectations. This permanent position will report to the Cheese Customer Service Supervisor and essential functions include but are not limited to the following.
Organize all customer orders and ensure they are in the system.
Manage daily cheese pricing and accuracy of invoices pertaining to relevant accounts.
Prepare various sales department reports and other order scheduling responsibilities.
Manage customers’ expectations through coordination with logistics, warehouse, and the production team on shipment schedules, changes and/or delays.
Anticipate customer needs.
Grow and strengthen customer relationships through excellent customer service.
The Skills you will bring to the team
Associate’s Degree or minimum of three years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and interpret various safety, operating, maintenance and procedural documents.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Proficiency in all Microsoft Office Suite applications.
Detail oriented with fantastic organizational skills.
SAP knowledge preferred but not required.
