Creative Design Intern Jobs

Symphonix seeks a Creative Design Intern to join our team! You will be responsible for creating informative, engaging, and inspiring design pieces. In addition, you will take conceptual ideas from our corporate team and develop visual representations for both print and digital purposes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop concepts by hand or with software and execute original content determining ideal color, text, font style, imagery, and layout usage.
• Collaborate, brainstorm, and strategize with multiple teams for various materials, including web graphics, presentations, signage, internal communication, and marketing materials.
• Manage/create/execute content for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, & Twitter accounts.
• Basic website maintenance (adding/removing products).
• Work with outside vendors such as printers, venues, suppliers, etc.
• Develop copy and design for corporate websites, social media, campaign content, and collateral.
• Receive input from the corporate team members to ensure designs meet organizational standards and brand expectations, express details accurately and represent the company appropriately.
• Help maintain the corporate website and social profiles, including posting product updates and social posts.
• Translate strategic direction into high-quality design within established brand identity.
• Manage the design and uploading process of all projects.
• Examine existing pieces, identify flaws, and develop creative solutions to improve designs.
• Experienced in social media scheduling and design.

Desired Qualifications and Skills

• Current student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in graphic design, art, or related field preferred.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Experience with Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
• Exceptional creativity and innovative design skills.
• Basic knowledge of layouts, typography, line composition, color, and other graphic design fundamentals.
• Strong portfolio of design work preferred.
• Time management skills and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
