What We Need
We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team in a remote role. In this position, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely handling of release of information account issues for both internal and external customers. With your exceptional professionalism and customer service skills, you will make a significant impact on our operations and contribute to the seamless exchange of health data.
Responsibilities
Provide excellent customer service by answering release of information related telephone calls and inquiries promptly and accurately.
Review, research, resolve, and respond to inquiries received via telephone, email, or written correspondence.
Document all calls, inquiries, and resolutions in detail using our software systems.
Adhere to departmental processes and procedures to maintain high productivity and quality assurance.
Maintain strict confidentiality of all information encountered in the role.
Foster positive relationships with colleagues and management, promoting a professional and collaborative work environment.
Communicate effectively and promptly regarding any issues, complaints, or incidents.
Adhere to company policies and procedures as instructed by management.
Attend mandatory employee in-service meetings and training sessions.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institute recognized by the State Department of Education.
Friendly and professional manner of communication with excellent customer service skills.
Experience With a Multi-line Phone System Is Required.
Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Word and Excel, at an intermediate/advanced level.
One year of related experience would be beneficial.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Successful completion of annual Introductory HIPAA examination.
Completion of a 90-day ROI Certification course with a score of 85% or higher.
