Job Description
We are a dynamic and forward-thinking organization specializing in healthcare consulting. Our team is dedicated to empowering Tribal healthcare clinics and improving healthcare delivery for our clients. We are currently seeking a Healthcare Clinic Operations Specialist to join our team and make a significant impact on the health and well-being of Tribal communities.
Role Overview
As a Healthcare Clinic Operations Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to advise our clients on the development, oversight, and management of Tribal healthcare clinic operations and services. You will play a crucial role in crafting Tribal healthcare operational service strategies to enhance productivity, efficiency, and revenue optimization.
Core Duties & Responsibilities
In this role, you will engage in a wide range of activities across our organization, including:
Advising on the promotion of Tribal healthcare service opportunities, analyzing the effectiveness of healthcare delivery, and improving administrative efficiencies.
Reviewing partner budgets and preparing detailed analyses.
Creating proformas to forecast future financial returns.
Providing expert guidance to Tribal health programs in areas such as revenue cycle management, practice management, and integrated clinical care.
Collaborating with Tribal clinic clients and healthcare staff to identify service gaps and propose solutions.
Assisting in planning, managing, implementing, and evaluating revenue generation strategies, with a focus on engaging Tribal healthcare leadership.
Overseeing the delivery of health and human services to Tribal Members and maximizing resources effectively.
Negotiating contracts and services while ensuring compliance with Tribal, Federal, and State regulations.
Facilitating audit requirements and documentation.
Offering advice on best practices for billing, collections, and overall financial management.
Providing leadership and support for PL 93-638 transition efforts.
Cultivating relationships with Tribal healthcare businesses and community partners.

Qualifications
To succeed in this position, you should meet the following requirements:
Quick learner with strong administrative skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
Familiarity with Google applications such as Gmail, Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides.
Ability to transfer and format documents between Microsoft Office and Google applications.
Independent and team-oriented work ethic, with a focus on meeting deadlines with high-quality results.
Keen attention to detail.
Knowledge of project management principles and efficient time allocation.
Interest in strategic planning, economic development, governance, workforce development, or related areas.
Cultural awareness and respect for Native American, Hawaiian Native, and Alaskan Native Tribes.
Education And Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or equivalent experience required; Master's Degree preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Tribal Healthcare Operations/Administration; prior experience as a Tribal Health Operations Director preferred.
Work Environment
This role offers a dynamic work environment with opportunities for growth. You may occasionally need to work weekends or evenings based on project demands. Travel, up to 30% of work time, will be required on an as-needed basis to meet client and business requirements. The work environment is typically quiet and conducive to focused work.

Salary: $ 74,059.00 Per Year
