Interviews conducted via Zoom.

IF selected for the opportunity, must be available to start VIRTUAL TRAINING on Monday, May 1, 2023. First 4 days of training will be conducted remotely via Zoom. Will be expected to report onsite after virtual training is completed.

The Case management counselor is responsible for helping to ensure that the client is able to access and receive program services.

Qualifications

• Skill in fact-finding and investigative techniques to gather factual information.
• Ability to communicate effectively, perform advisory services for specific requests, conduct interviews, and motivate customers to use benefits and services immediately available.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Must have pc or laptop to complete 4-5 day virtual training
• Capacity to be a self-starter and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local policies related to benefits and social programs and procedures is sufficient to serve as a technical authority to implement and counsel on the program.
• Knowledge of medical terminology (preferred)

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift or transport items up to 30 lbs.
• Ability to travel up to 30% of the time.
• Ability to sit up to 80% of the time and stand up to 20% of the time.

Pay Rate: $15.87
