Damar Services is looking for a talented and motivated Lead Clinical Case Manager to support a case load of clients on the diagnostic and evaluation units for high-risk clients. Additionally, they would provide direct supervision and clinical oversight to bachelor’s level case managers to ensure quality of care for all clients. They will conduct chart audits to ensure quality of paperwork.

Rembarkable way you will make a difference...


  • Maintains documentation that is accurate and legible.
  • Responsible for reviewing case management documentation of CANS, MHA, Stabilization Plans, Individual Crisis Management Plans (ICMPs), and biweekly reports.
  • Completes ICMP, CANS assessment, Mental Health Assessment, Stabilization Plan, and biweekly reports for assigned clients.
  • Responsible for a case load of high-risk children from SAT and CNPCC.
  • Completes and updates mandatory training and other licensure related items in a timely manner.
  • Represents clients in doctor’s appointments, psychiatric reviews, Court Reviews, Child and Family Team meetings, and IEP/Case Conferences by providing accurate information regarding the client’s treatment progress and areas of need.
  • Trains staff over new client ICMPs and updated ICMPs for existing clients.
  • Oversees Family Time scheduling and encourages family involvement.
  • Responsible for direct supervision SAT/CNPCC BA Case Managers.
  • Attends mandatory staff meeting and other meetings as assigned.
  • Completes incident reports, including reporting any suspected exploitation, abuse, or neglect of a client.
  • Completes and participates in all intakes and discharges for assigned clients.
  • Responsible for Independent Living assessments and execution of IL services, including weekly IL groups for children 14 and older.
  • Acts as a liaison and consistently communicates with families, professionals, guardians and referring agencies to provide best outcomes for clients. Ensures that these communications are recorded in a timely manner and participates in weekly narrative communication.


What You Need To Be Considered...


  • Be at least 21 years old.
  • No felony convictions or other criminal offenses involving a dependent population.
  • Additional license or specialized training the following preferred LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, CSAYC or BCBA.
  • Must have at least one year of experience in treating DD/ID population or specialized training and meet one of the previously listed degrees of education and/or accompanying years of experience.
  • Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related human service area of study from an accredited program.
  • Valid Indiana driver's license and good driving record.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen and physical.

Physical Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight (up to 35lbs); to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard; to travel to other locations using various modes of private and commercial transportation; and to verbally communicate to exchange information.

What is a Direct Support Professional?


A Direct Support Professional performs a variety of tasks related to the care of clients served by Damar.


What would I be doing?


Some duties include client supervision and care, crisis management, promoting appropriate social behaviors, and supporting clients in achieving their maximum potential.


Where would I work with clients?


For this particular role, you could work on our Children's Residential campus located at 6067 Decatur Boulevard in Indianapolis.


What are the hours?


  • Day Shift (700 am- 730pm), weekly rotating schedule

What You Need To Be Considered...


  • Successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen and physical
  • Be at least 21 to work in our Children's Residential program however, we have other Direct Support Professional roles for those between 18-21 so we still encourage you to apply if you are not 21 or over.
  • Favorably meet and maintain Damar Services’ background screening
  • Be able to provide formal proof of a high school diploma or GED
  • Be clear of any felony convictions, substantiated charges of neglect or other disqualifying criminal offenses
