Corporate Security Officer
Bouygues Energies & Services Solutions - Westminster
Bouygues Energies and Services currently has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Corporate Security Officer to join our Facilities Management team at a prestigious Government building in Westminster.
This is a permanent role working 6:3 - 3 days on, 3 nights on, 3 off. 12 hour shifts days and nights, from 07.00 to 19.00/19.00-07.00, an average of 56 hours per week.
Flexibility would be an advantage as there may be the requirement to work other shifts, often at short notice.

The role:

- To use CCTV, Access Control, Alarm Systems, Baggage Search Systems, etc.
- Working 56 hours per week, 6 ON 3 OFF, Days and Nights, from 07.00 to 19.00/19.00-07.00
- Reporting to the Security Management Team
- Proficiently use all relevant surveillance and communications equipment
The person:
- First Aid training and X-ray Scanning Experience would be an advantage
- Ability to work under pressure
- Frontline Security Guarding or Door Supervision SIA licence essential; CCTV license an advantage
- Level of fitness commensurate with required duties (patrolling, standing on designated posts)
- Smart, well-groomed and confident
- Desirable to have experience in a similar role in a Blue Chip / Corporate environment
- Please note employment in this post is dependent upon obtaining security clearance; this requires a current passport and 5 years’ residency within the UK. A full and comprehensive 5 year work/education history will also be required.
