Position Summary

Mortgage Recruiter


As a Mortgage Recruiter, your primary responsibility will be to identify, attract, and hire talented professionals to join our organization within the mortgage industry. You will play a crucial role in building a high-performing team that can drive the company's growth and success. Your expertise in sourcing, screening, and evaluating candidates will be essential in ensuring that we hire individuals who possess the right skills, experience, and cultural fit.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Candidate Sourcing:

- Utilize various sourcing channels, such as job boards, social media, professional networks, and referrals, to identify potential candidates.

- Develop and maintain a strong talent pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future hiring needs.

- Implement creative and innovative strategies to attract passive candidates in the mortgage industry.


2. Candidate Screening and Selection:

- Conduct initial screenings and interviews to assess candidates' qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.

- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their specific requirements and provide guidance throughout the selection process.

- Administer candidate assessments and evaluations as necessary to gauge candidates' skills and competencies.


3. Recruitment Process Management:

- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring timely communication with candidates and hiring managers.

- Coordinate interviews and assessments, ensuring a smooth and efficient candidate experience.

- Track candidate progress and maintain up-to-date records in the applicant tracking system.


4. Employer Branding:

- Contribute to the development of the company's employer branding strategy within the mortgage industry.

- Participate in industry events, job fairs, and networking activities to promote the organization as an employer of choice.


5. Talent Acquisition Metrics and Reporting:

- Monitor and analyze recruitment metrics, such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and source of hire, to measure the effectiveness of the recruitment process.

- Generate regular reports on recruitment activities, providing insights and recommendations to improve hiring strategies.


6. Compliance and Legal Considerations:

- Ensure adherence to all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies related to recruitment and hiring practices within the mortgage industry.


Qualifications and Skills:


- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

- Proven experience as a Recruiter, preferably with a focus on the mortgage industry or financial services sector.

- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment tools.

- Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices and industry trends.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with candidates, hiring managers, and stakeholders.

- Ability to assess candidates' qualifications, skills, and cultural fit effectively.

- Results-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain professional relationships.

- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations related to the recruitment process.
