Client

Our client identifies and develops strategic sites for new data centers, focusing on designing and configuring each site to deliver sustained and long-term competitive land and power access advantages, while providing renewable power supply solutions to assist data center operators in meeting their sustainability and ‘net zero’ commitments and targets.

Summary

Our client is looking for a Corporate Development Analyst to support all activities related to the full life cycle of data center development. These activities include supporting commercial negotiations and structuring, driving growth through acquisition, supporting C-suite and investors in the decision-making process, and project financing to support construction and operations of projects.

Location

Preference for candidates to be in or near Denver, CO, or San Francisco, CA.

Compensation

A highly competitive annual earnings opportunity comprised of a base salary along with benefits, bonus, and long-term incentives

Essential Responsibilities

• Collaborate across the team to generate ideas, analyses, and research in support of new business generation
• Build, maintain, and improve advanced financial models
• Routine communication with private equity investors
• Prepare investment memoranda and presentations for team leaders
• Budget and forecast project spend
• Create data-driven marketing materials for customers to demonstrate the Company’s value proposition
• Continually build the Company’s knowledge base and capabilities within the industry by monitoring customers, industries, and regulators for news that may impact portfolio and business needs
• Craft crisp conclusions from analysis and communicate them effectively to team leaders, customers, and investors

Required Skills and Experience

• Experience building financial models
• Strong analytical mind, problem-solving skills, quantitative/qualitative skillset, and modeling and presentation skills
• Be responsive. Stay committed. Work with integrity.
• Prior experience in investment banking and/or corporate development highly preferred
• 1-5 years of relevant experience demonstrating a track record of distinction and leadership among your peers
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• Mastery of MS Office
• Exposure to real estate investments
• Experience communicating the outputs of quantitative analysis in a crisp, cogent manner to drive decisions
