We are looking for an experienced Director, Global Public Relations and Corporate Comm who’s passionate about community development, PR, Corporate Communication, innovative brand communication, and helping our retail client become the most loved baby lifestyle brand in the world! Looking for someone with 6+ years experience in managing complex integrated marketing and communications programs in a fast paced, high volume, Marketing and/or PR/Communications function for a consumer-focused organization.

You must be located in Van Nuys, CA and be comfortable with a hybrid schedule where an employee works in the office on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday and remotely from home on Tuesday and Friday.

MUST have Consumer packaged goods experience!

What You’ll Do:

• Ensure productivity is maximized and quality is delivered.
• Partner with the E-Commerce team to assist with community outreach and engagement via E-Commerce website.
• Working under the direction of the CBO, manages external agencies to assist in PR and Social Media activities. Support decisions with ROI based analysis and KPI tracking
• Other duties may be assigned.
• Develop and execute strategic public relations (PR) and experiential marketing programs that enhance customer loyalty via digital channels and PR
• Create high quality, persuasive, and strategic presentations for an audience that includes partners, senior management, and board of
• Work with CBO and agency on all initiatives
• Agency Management
• Corporate PR
• Work in collaboration with other team members and agency partners to ensure initiatives have 360-degree support and alignment across all channels.
• Cultivate talent and provide leadership, coaching, and career development planning for team members.

Qualifications:

• Analytical skill and the ability to use digital tools to find actionable insights through data
• Experience running PR as a business and driving against measurable KPIs impactful to the business through development of innovative PR strategies
• Must have excellent skills in writing press releases and all content that demonstrates a clear and consistent brand voice
• A strong track record working with top tier press
• 6-10+ years experience building and leading powerful team and demonstrated skill in managing people
• 6-10+ years experience in managing complex integrated marketing and communications programs in a fast paced, high volume, Marketing and/or PR/Communications function for a consumer-focused organization. Consumer product industry experience is a must
• Global experience a plus
• A collaborative nature with finesse in developing relationships cross-functionally
• Meaningful experience with agency/vendor management

The target hiring compensation range for this role is the equivalent of $65.00 - $70.00 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
