: Corporate Credit Analyst - Miami, Florida
Our Client is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Corporate Credit Analyst to join their team in Miami, Florida. As a Corporate Credit Analyst, you will be responsible for underwriting middle market, asset-based, and venture debt lender finance participations. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting a thorough examination of legal documents and collaborating with internal and/or external lawyers to make any necessary amendments.
- Developing custom cash flow models in Excel, including base case and break-even stress case scenarios.
- Analyzing eligibility criteria, advance rates, concentration limits, borrowing base, financial covenants, collateral marking mechanisms, events of default, and portfolio tranches.
- Underwriting participations in syndications ranging from $30 million to $100 million, with a total value of up to $1 billion.
- Regular communication and collaboration with senior management, other participant relationship managers, and clients.
- Providing comprehensive reports on the quality of underlying collateral, spread financial statements, calculating financial covenants, and performing annual reviews. You will also be responsible for assigning quarterly risk ratings for each new and existing client.
To qualify for this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, including cash flow, leveraging, and deleveraging models.
- Familiarity with FDIC guidelines, particularly leverage lending guidance.
- A minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience in project finance, syndicated loans, and leverage lending loans.
- Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to structure transactions, including financial covenants, collateral, and source of repayment.
- Experience in reviewing SEC filings, including 10K, 10Q, 8K, and other relevant documents.
