Job Description
  • Represent the organization both within and outside of the work environment in a manner that promotes the mission, vision and values of the agency. Personally adhere to organizational mission, vision and values, in addition to all other agency policies and procedures.
  • In addition to responsibilities below, perform all other duties as assigned.
  • Under the supervision of the Director of Intake and Admissions, maintain a database of individuals seeking residential services for the boroughs in which HeartShare offers residential services.
  • Remain sensitive and responsive to cultural differences of program participants and staff.
  • Serve as role model for program participants. Abide by department and agency dress codes. Conduct oneself in a professional manner at all times.
  • Ensure proper enrollment of accepted residential candidates into the residential program, Precision Care, and TABS.
  • Use positive approaches when handling difficult situations. Avoids gossip and negative discussions. Remains flexible and adapts to change.
  • Facilitate residential screening processes, as assigned for specific residential programs and program development projects.
  • Participate in in-service trainings and on-site workshops as required for professional growth and development. Attend external trainings and workshops at direction of management.
  • Provide administrative support to all HeartShare residential services programs.
