Job Location
Our headquarters is in Perrysburg, Ohio. This is a remote position, however, we require someone to live within an acceptable driving distance to our headquarters for meetings and events. Only candidates in Ohio, Southern Michigan, and Northeast Indiana will be considered.

Job Summary
The Billing Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining and updating customer accounts, generating invoices, resolving customer billing problems and reducing accounts receivable delinquency.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly accruals for WIP.
- Facilitate collection form overdue accounts.
- Review internal sales arrangement for accuracy prior to preparing invoices.
- Follow GAAP accounting principles.
- Reconcile accounting ledgers as required.
- Track credits owed to customers and ensure all credits are properly applied to customer invoices.
- Build and maintain customer relationships.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Prepare daily invoices and send the invoices to customers.
Requirements
- The selected candidate will be required to pass a criminal history background check.
- Ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds and with diverse needs and across remote offices.
- Familiarity with accounting software programs, preferably Microsoft Dynamics SL and SalesForce.
- Associate Degree in accounting, finance or strong equivalent experience.
- Proven organizational and planning skills.
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects.
- Clearly articulate ideas to both internal and external customers and to listen effectively to customers' needs.
- Able to work without supervision. Occasionally, will work in a team environment.
- Ability to develop and maintain strong workplace relationships with an emphasis on customer satisfaction.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel and Word.
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Experience in accounts receivables, preferably project based billings. Minimum 2 years experience.
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
- Desire and ability to work collaboratively with others to accomplish daily goals.
