Our client, a top software company, is looking for a Content Marketing Senior Specialist ("Senior Specialist") to join their Content Strategy & Activation team (part of the broader Brand Marketing team).
In this role you will be responsible for producing high-quality, relevant, and engaging content and will craft strategic, web-based content leveraged across the Marketing organization - including PR/communications, demand generation, ABM, customer development, events marketing - as well as sales enablement. As Senior Specialist you will report to the Content Marketing Manager and will partner closely with SEO, organic social, and paid media teams to drive a holistic content strategy across the business.
Responsibilities:

  • Partner closely with SEO team on optimization of net new blogs and retroactive optimization of existing blogs.
  • Monitor performance of thought leadership and blog content and assist in monthly and quarterly reports.
  • Lead development of keyword-based blogs, adhering to SEO outlines and creatively bringing short- and long-form blog content to life.
  • Manage Content editorial calendar, including scheduling draft and publish dates and working with Content Manager and Senior SEO Manager on editorial assignments for writers.
  • Assist in editorial review of blogs and other written content created by the Content team and external writers (thought leadership, reports, ebooks, landing pages, etc.), ensuring all content aligns with company messaging, SEO best practices, and correct grammar/punctuation.
  • Lead original research development in conjunction with the team and external vendors, synthesize data and draft reports, coordinate with Content project manager on project deadlines, and socializing timeline.
