We are looking for a Content Management Specialist (REMOTE) to join our team to support the Knowledge Management team. The candidate will be helping to integrate people and processes enabled by tools throughout the information lifecycle to create shared understanding, improve organizational effectiveness and performance, increase collaboration, stimulate innovation, and enhance decision-making.

Your day-to-day work will include:

• Trains employees to obtain and organize explicit knowledge stored in knowledge, networks, databases, and information systems.
• Helps review databases, websites, and other authoritative sources to validate the security and relevance of content.
• Helps employees develop and manage templates and other knowledge products.
• Remains current on trends and best business practices in knowledge management and content management.
• Facilitates knowledge transfer between pertinent parties to include units, Soldiers, and leaders.
• Searches for and capture observations, insights, and lessons of best business practices related to content management.
• Reviews file management techniques and direct adjustments, as needed.
• Staffs and coordinates information assurance and information security matters related to content management.
• Enforces file-naming conventions, data-tagging policies, and data organization consistent with Army guidance.
• Helps provide expertise and training in use of knowledge management tools, processes, and systems.
• Coordinates incorporating current standards to improve information search and retrieval across various data sources.
• Supervises and trains knowledge management and content management procedures.

At a minimum you should have:

• Bachelor's degree in literature, journalism, marketing, communications, or similar
• 3+ years’ experience in content creation, marketing, communications, or similar
• An Active SECRET clearance.
• Experience and education managing records, content, and data in SharePoint and Army 365 (A365)
• Good knowledge of content
• Ability to remain current on content and consumer trends and advancements in technology.
• Experience and education in knowledge management practices and procedures
• Excellent computer skills with MS Office
