Associate Editor, Features And Branded Content

DESCRIPTION

The Associate Editor, Features and Branded Content will serve as an editor on YouTube features and YouTube shorts, in addition to publishing content to the platform. This position will report to the Senior Producer, Features and Branded Content.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Keep up with trends and best practices to continue elevating the Chargers YouTube channel
• Assist with editing and reformatting content for Chargers social media platforms
• Assist in all areas of production when needed
• Help reach department goals and maintain high quality production of the department
• Post production finishing, including color correction and audio mixing
• Serve as a primary editor and publisher on YouTube features and shorts
• Ideate and execute original concepts for all platforms
• Collaborate with features team on publishing frequency and overall strategy

QUALIFICATIONS

• 1-3 years of experience editing video content
• Adobe Creative Suite proficiency

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Ability to work within strict deadlines
• Frequent consumer of YouTube content and passionate about the platform
• Excellent work ethic
• Cutting edge editing style consistent with Chargers brand
• Experience in camera operation a plus
• Strong ability working with others in high pressure situations
• Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays and non-traditional hours, including every Chargers gameday at SoFi Stadium
• Skills in motion graphics a plus
• Knowledge of and passion for the NFL
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent organization and time management skills

Expected Annual Starting Base Salary: $45,000- $55,000
