Construction Manager - Sheridan Vamc

Technical Design Review: CMC will conduct technical document design reviews of specifications and drawings for projects as assigned. Required disciplines for competent technical review include Architectural, Structural, Civil, IT/Network, Mechanical, Electrical, and Fire Protection. Assigned projects for technical review will be infrastructure in nature and will be predicated on renovation of existing space. This will include coordination w/ A&E firms and management of assigned projects.

Construction Contract Administration Support: CMC shall support attendance and documentation of contractor meetings, produce meeting agendas and minutes, prepare analysis of contractor proposed change orders and make recommendations to Sheridan Wy Fort Harrison FMS management, support construction contract kick-off to closeout to include but not limited to commissioning paperwork, punch lists, and verification of successful completion in accordance with plans and specifications. Completing close-out documentation such as capitalization memo(s), Maintenance and Operations hand-over paperwork, and technical certification data as required by the scope of the project. Assignment to a total of three (3) projects constituting approximately $15M in total construction cost is anticipated.

Technical Administrative Support: CMC shall support technical administrative responsibilities conducted by contracted entities by procuring and providing reference documentation, conducting site investigation efforts, validating assumptions, reviewing submissions for accuracy, correcting database entries, and coordinating reviews and activities with other VA stakeholders. Tasks of this nature shall include but not be limited to the following: Capital Asset Inventory Update, Raken based project report updates. GS-23F-0208S 36C25923F0407 Page 6 of 21

Specialized Technical Services: CMC shall perform specialized technical tasks outside the expectations of on-site staff through the utilization of remote resources. Task may include but are not limited to information technology (IT)/network engineering, structural engineering, geotechnical engineering, industrial hygiene consultation, interagency consultation, and historical resources consultation.
