Job Description
What to Expect
As a Electrical Construction Project Coordinator, you will be playing a critical role in supporting self-perform construction projects coordinating activities between project managers and field superintendents, supporting material procurements and assisting in tracking projects’ cost and schedules performance and ensuring deliverable dates are achieved.

What You’ll Do
  • Provide support to the Start-up and Commissioning team, including providing available manufacturer documentations and coordinating with 3rd Party vendor testing
  • Project Start-up support and task tracking including contracts, proposal letters, work authorizations, creation and/or maintenance of project directories and ensure all applicable permits are in place
  • Procure materials to support field activities, including obtaining supplier quotes, analyze for best value, verify receipt and coordinate delivery to field teams
  • Support Construction activities to ensure efficient process workflow
  • Coordinate training of installed equipment with facilities and maintenance teams
  • Project Close-Out tasks include coordination of final inspections with local officials, close-out of all permits, documenting lessons learned and transmitting actual cost and schedule data to the estimating team for use in future project development
  • Support Construction documentation management to ensure configuration control including submitting RFIs & submittals, tracking as-builts and ensuring receipt of QA/QC documents
  • Monitor and report field progress including manpower and quantities installed against the resources loaded estimate
  • Coordinate and set-up meetings with team members and stakeholders Document, distribute and follow-up on action items
What You’ll Bring
  • B.S. in Electrical Engineering
  • Proficiency in Bluebeam, Aconex, PlanGrid, and MS Project preferred
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to effectively prioritize with strong time management skills in a fast-paced environment
  • High level of professionalism and strong sense of urgency
  • 2-5 years of field oversight or coordinator experience with an architecture, design or construction firm.
  • Ability to work with minimal guidance; Proactive, motivated self-starter
  • Highly organized with a strong attention to detail
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
