Construction Foreman will travel 2-3 weeks at a time all over the United States.

Do you have what it takes to LEAD a 3-4-PERSON CONSTRUCTION CREW? CAT Scale is a growing company that is hiring a hard-working and dedicated Construction Foreman to join our elite team, traveling all over the United States 2-3 weeks at a time, maintaining and repairing our 2,000+ CAT Scales.

As a Construction Foreman, you will lead and work with all different types of people including your own laborers, maintenance crews, other foremen, subcontractors, and customers. Foremen will encounter all types of tasks including but not limited to; concrete work and repair, scale deck repair, trenching for conduit, and the use of all kinds of tools all while learning how to maintain CAT Scale equipment.

Requirements

• Employees must live within a two-hour drive time of CAT Scale headquarters located in Walcott, Iowa.
• Ability to effectively communicate, lead, motivate, and work with all types of people
• Concrete Construction experience is a plus
• 2 years of proven experience leading a crew
• Work outside during all types of weather
• Experience operating a skid steer, mini excavator, and other equipment is a plus.
• Must be accountable for your actions, be detail oriented, and take initiative to complete projects
• Ability to travel up to 75% of the time, or 2-3 weeks at a time throughout the United States and Canada
• Ability to lift and move 50-75 pounds regularly
• Responsible for the protection and maintenance of physical equipment and company assets
• Must be able to stand, kneel and bend over long periods
• Must have excellent customer service skills
• Ensure all safety guidelines and organizational best practices are always followed
• Able to work successfully under limited supervision

License

• Valid Class A CDL with good driving record (preferred). Eligible, but don’t have a CDL? We’ll help you get it!
