InnoActive Group is seeking a highly motivated and detail oriented Office Engineer who will be responsible for coordinating daily activities on a large capital improvement program. The successful candidate will work closely with the project manager and team to help with daily project communication, RFIs and Submittals, document control, QA/QC, reporting and contractor management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Change Management: Assisting with the change order process. This includes assisting in the evaluation of change requests and documenting any adjustments to the original scope.
- Document Control: Managing and organizing project documentation, including contracts, plans, drawings, permits, specifications, and other relevant paperwork.
- Project Reporting: Assist the project manager in preparing regular project status reports and updates for management and clients, highlighting key milestones, progress, and any concerns.
- RFIs and Submittals: Assisting the RFI and submittal workflow process and ensuring the correct stakeholders are providing review.
- Communication: Serving as a point of contact for various project stakeholders, including the client, contractors, consultants, and internal team members. You will be responsible for maintaining clear and effective communication channels between all parties involved and managing meeting minutes for weekly meetings.
- Project Scheduling: Collaborating with the project team to maintain project schedules. This involves tracking progress, and helping to ensure that the project stays on track according to the approved schedule
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other cost management software tools.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor degree in engineering, construction management or related field
- Two years of experience in construction or as an owner’s representative
- Works well in teams and has great communication skills
