The Role
We are looking for a conceptual Art/Creative Director and a Copy/Creative Director. The right candidate will work closely with the Executive Leadership Team and will be highly influential in helping define a renewed culture of creativity that values innovation. The right candidate is someone who has managed people and knows how to plan and oversee the development of company digital, traditional, and experiential projects.

How You Will Make An Impact
The right candidate will be able to set a vision for creative engagement, which inspires and differentiates the agency for new business, for current client business, and for organic growth with current clients. Lead brand campaigns that are show stopping and award winning. Working collaboratively and in partnership with the Studio Creative Director to lead, contribute to, and/or develop creative strategy, ideation, copywriting and art direction for existing accounts and new client prospects supported by a team of internal/freelance creative staff. Demonstrate confidence, authority, and level-headed decision-making as the agency’s senior creative voice. Display, and serve as a model of, marketing curiosity and the willingness to push your own thinking and the agency’s work in new directions. Be a model example of adherence to agency processes making certain staff assigned staff follows suit and contribute to the optimization of agency process.
Responsibilities
- Lead and direct the creative team in the production of all marketing collateral
- Remain actively involved in hiring and training creative staff
- Oversee profitability, deliverables, timelines, and budgets
- Work closely with project teams and oversee graphic designers
- Review work, troubleshoot and provide feedback to creative teams
- Stay up to date with current creative and marketing trends
- Meet with clients or upper management to explain campaign strategies and solutions
- Manage and cultivate the career development of staff members, including designers, art directors and copywriters
- Be a thought leader within the agency and the industry.
- Work in partnership with Studio CD to develop a bench of potential creative partners with distinct and diverse experience and resource team members from this bench as needed for each campaign/project.
- Manage the creative process from concept to completion
- Oversee client pitches and proposals
- Lead the positive, spirited debate of ideas and points-of-view to push your team and the agency at large to deliver a continuously improving product
- Work with Leadership to continue to evolve vision for the agency into the agency of the future.
- Keep Executive Leadership Team abreast of creative/digital trends.
- Translate marketing objectives into clear creative strategies
- Ensure visual communication and brand standards are met
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with integrated marketing and sales campaigns across disciplines including direct to consumer marketing, public relations, social media, content creation etc.
- Advertising or integrated marketing agency experience preferred
- Experiential experience a plus
Software Proficiency:
- Google Drive Documents
- Online Project Management Tools (workamajig)
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Blogging Platforms and Social Media Sites (Word Press, Facebook, etc.)
Preferred Education:
- Bachelor’s degree Advertising, Marketing, Communications, or related field or equivalent work experience
