Job Description
Overview:
Works under minimal supervision of the Journeyman Electrician performing electrical maintenance of existing electrical systems as well as installation of electrical systems in new construction.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assist Journeyman Electrician in all aspects of existing and new installation systems.
  • Responsible for existing ministry electrical systems.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Experience:
  • Minimum 6 years’ experience in electrical installations with a minimum 4 years of experience in commercial.
  • Must be knowledgeable in all types of electrical construction including residential, commercial and institutional.
EQUIPMENT TO BE USED:
  • Assorted power tools, electrical meters, hand tools, various pieces of construction machinery.
TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • Must have good balance for working at various heights.
  • Ability to lift 100 pounds or more.
  • Must be able to participate in long periods of highly strenuous physical activity associated with the construction industry.
  • Must be able to work in all extremes of temperature and weather.
  • Be able to do manual labor.
TYPICAL MENTAL DEMANDS:
  • Must be a team player and a leader.
  • Produce quality work and except changes in production and time lines.
  • Must be able to do basic math.
  • Must be safety conscience at all times.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
  • Indoors and Outdoors
Other:
  • Membership and attendance at EMIC are preferred
  • Born again believer and must adhere to the doctrines of this organization as upheld by Kenneth and Gloria Copeland and their appointed representatives
  • Must work well with others, as a team and according to Romans 16:17, must not cause dissension, difficulties and divisions
  • Because of the wide range of personal contact with ministry leaders within and outside the organization, this position requires considerable diplomacy, maturity, and excellent communication skills
  • Must maintain a good attendance record
  • Ability to work with people of all cultures
