About The Opportunity


  • Commercial construction project managers work both off-site and on-site to keep the crew on schedule and well-equipped
  • They also negotiate contracts, obtain building permits, and secure other necessary documents
  • A pioneer and one of the top companies in the construction industry is currently looking for an experienced Commercial Construction Project Manager to join their growing team
  • Managers of commercial building projects organize and control such procedures


Commercial Construction Project Manager Responsibilities


  • While new projects are being planned and implemented, assist senior management
  • Manage design, financial, and timeline challenges proactively by avoiding problems if possible, coming up with plans, and offering suggestions for fixes when necessary
  • Manage projects at several stages of development, from developing the budget and scope to finding vendors, managing the program, overseeing the design, and/or managing the construction through project closeouts
  • Concurrently, "take ownership" of several design and construction projects to make sure they stay on schedule and within budget


Commercial Construction Project Manager Qualifications


  • Degree in construction management or engineering
  • Autonomous memo writing, spreadsheet management, and document creation skills utilizing Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Project and PowerPoint
  • Solid knowledge of and experience in project management and construction management
