Position Summary
Develop and secure long term relationships with Enterprise customers. Ensure that routine account audits and updates are performed. Manages collection, reporting.
Essential Duties
The NAS Resolution & Shared Service Supervisor may be expected to perform some or all of the duties listed as well as other duties as assigned.
  • Work with Billing Manager on any billing discrepancies.
  • Ensure that each customer account is properly set up in MasterMind.
  • Position may require mandatory overtime.
  • Make credit adjustments to accounts when necessary.
  • Assignment of projects.
  • Handle any customer calls or communication that requires escalation and ensure that management is aware of any potential issues.
  • Provide both oral and written presentations to potential customers explaining the operation of their equipment and applicable services.
  • Review and approve corrective action plans before sending to HR.
  • Solve escalated collection issues, help arrange special payment options and cancellation of past due accounts.
  • Accountable for compiling data and preparing daily, weekly and monthly reports to keep senior management apprised of the status of collection operations and receivables reduction.
  • Establish good working relationships with all points of Contact, District’s and AVPs.
  • Perform all other duties and project as assigned.
  • Conduct, evaluate and help manage collection activities.
  • Perform routine account audits and updates.
  • Monthly one on one meeting with staff.
  • Monitor billing for accuracy.
Supervisory Responsibilities
  • Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
This position is on-site and reports daily to 4221 W John Carpenter Freeway, Irving, TX 75063
Qualifications
Knowledge:
  • Knowledge of an experience using the principles and practices of supervision.
  • Knowledge of and familiarity with the alarm industry.
  • Advanced Spreadsheet knowledge.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Protection 1’s billing practices.
  • Knowledge of collection law and best practices.
Skills
  • Must have good problem solving skills.
  • Must have good interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Must have good customer service skills and be able to apply tact, diplomacy, reason, and logic.
  • Must have strong communication skills, including written, to assist internal and external customers.
  • Requires skills in business math, interpersonal relations, judgment, and listening.
  • Must have good oral and written communication skills.
  • Must be very organized and detail oriented.
Abilities
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedures manuals.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Ability to concentrate on a task over a period of time without being distracted.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
  • Ability to maintain composure, keep emotions in check and avoid aggressive behavior, even in very difficult situations.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and at least three years related experience and/or training to include one year of supervisory experience.
Physical Demands
  • The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment
  • Must be able to travel as needed to visit customers, P-1 branches and authorized subcontractors.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
