Job Description

USING FRAME PART LAYOUT DRAWINGS AND CNC PROGRAMMING WHICH HAS BEEN DOWNLOADED TO THE CNC ROUTER: LOAD, CYCLE, AND OFFLOAD ROUTER TO PRODUCE CUT FRAME PARTS.


  • INSPECT RAW MATERIALS PRIOR TO PERFORMING OPERATION TO INSURE PROPER QUALITY STANDARDS.
  • ALERT SUPERVISOR TO ANY SUB STANDARD RAW MATERIALS OR PRIOR OPERATION.
  • PROPER MAINTENANCE ON EQUIPMENT IS REQUIRED AT ALL TIMES.
  • ALL OPERATORS ARE REQUIRED TO CORRECT ANY SUB STANDARD, OFF QUALITY WORK THEY PRODUCE.
  • MAINTAIN NECESSARY SKILLS TO MAINTAIN 100% OR BETTER EFFICIENCY.
  • PROMOTE SAFETY BY FOLLOWING ALL COMPANY SAFETY RULES.
  • CONFORM TO ALL COMPANY POLICIES.
  • PROMOTE GOODWILL AND A POSITIVE COMPANY IMAGE TO FOLLOW EMPLOYEES AND THE COMMUNITY.
  • MAINTAIN A CLEAN WORKING AREA.
  • RECEIVE CNC ROUTER OPERATION TRAINING.
  • FOLLOW ESTABLISHED ENGINEERING OR MACHINE MANUFACTURER PROCEDURES, LOAD PLYWOOD SHEETS ONTO THE BED OF THE CNC ROUTER, KEY THE CYCLING INSTRUCTIONS INTO THE ROUTER, AND OFFLOAD THE CUT PARTS AS THE MACHINE IS COMPLETING THE CUT, AND PUT ASIDE ALL SCRAP MATERIAL GENERATED BY THE SAW.
  • ESTABLISH A GOOD WORKING RELATIONSHIP WITH THE CNC ROUTER PROGRAMMER AND COMMUNICATE FACTS AND IDEAS WITH HIM TO FACILITATE THE OPERATION. SHARE PROBLEMS AND SUGGESTIONS SO THAT THIS INFORMATION CAN BE INCORPORATED INTO THE PROGRAMMING EFFORT TO INSURE EFFICIENT ROUTER OPERATION, AVOIDING COSTLY ERRORS AND PROMOTING LOW COST FRAME PRODUCTION.
  • FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS OF FRAME MILL SUPERVISOR, CNC ROUTER PROGRAMMER, AND CNC ROUTER PROJECT MANAGER.
