Our client is a growing packaging and logistics company based in Portland, Oregon and Temple, Texas. Established in 2018, our client is known as a single source partner for their customers Packaging, Warehousing, Logistics, and Fulfillment needs. They specialize in producing custom corrugated or foam products that are available to customers that range from small businesses, pop-ups, e-commerce, to larger corporations.
Currently, we’re hiring a permanent Machine Operator to join the growing team. This position offers a stable schedule, the ability to grow professionally, and you’ll have the opportunity to work with a motivated team.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Performing preventive maintenance of machinery, monitoring machines, and troubleshooting malfunctions
• Operating a forklift, maintaining cleanliness of the warehouse, and supporting with other duties as assigned
• Following work instructions, documenting work orders, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Performing quality control, dimensional inspections, and visual inspections with precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and a measuring tape
• Performing manual machine set ups for various machines such as a Compuserve Riteze Box Maker, 4 Bar Slitter/Scorer, Double Head Printer/Slotter (Required), Rolling Die Cutter, and Beam Press

Requirements

• 4 Bar Slitter/Scorer
• The ability to work with a small team
• Compuserve Riteze Box Maker
• 1+ years of experience operating machines and performing full setups on the equipment listed below:
• Beam Press
• Experience using a micrometers, caliper, and measure tape
• The ability to pass a background check
• Rolling Die Cutter
• Expereince working with currogated materials and foam
• The ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Double Head Printer/Slotter (Required)
• The ability to read machining instructions and follow work orders

Shift

• Day shift - Monday - Friday from 7:30 am - 4:30 pm
