Job Description
Club 33 is a private membership club that offers a distinctive VIP experience throughout the Disneyland Resort. Conceived by Walt Disney and maintained by generations committed to his vision, Club 33 has exclusively served Members since its inception and offers its members opportunities for fine dining, special events, personalized experiences, and access to the Happiest Place on Earth.


As Club 33 enters a new era of growth, this role will be responsible for implementing internal and external marketing campaigns and communication strategies, including advertising, branding, product promotion, and day-to-day communication that supports business efforts and engages the Club 33 Membership.

Requirements:


  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the talent to write in an elegant tone and style that meets the expectations of a private membership club.
  • Proven success designing and executing marketing and communications strategies and campaigns.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, videography, and/or photography.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Must be able to think analytically and strategically.
  • Familiarity or experience working with CRM software.
  • You are passionate and knowledgeable about the Disney culture and shaping its future.
  • Well-versed in AP style, grammar, and punctuation.
  • Creative thinker and comfortable pushing the envelope of communication with the latest technology, including web and email design.
  • Up to date on industry trends and able to stay ahead of the curve.
  • Thrive on building new relationships and carefully fostering existing ones while working in a team environment.
  • Project management skills and can shape the overall vision of a project with key partners to deliver results.
  • Strong multitasker capable of simultaneously managing multiple projects with different deadlines.
  • Capable of working well as part of a team and independently.
  • Can craft creative and consistent messaging with quick turnarounds in a fast-paced and changing environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, or Journalism and 5+ years of relevant experience in the communications or marketing field.
  • Expert knowledge of marketing and related subjects (advertising, market research, consumer behavior, and marketing analytics)


Responsibilities:


  • Work with different departments to generate new ideas and strategies.
  • Partner with Consumer Insights to understand member satisfaction and develop marketing and internal communication campaigns to enhance service.
  • Manage product photoshoots and assist with styling and merchandising of Club 33-specific products.
  • Respond to communication-related issues in a timely manner.
  • Identify trends and leverage marketing opportunities within the premium experiences business through print and digital tools and channels.
  • Track the effectiveness of various marketing campaigns, define key performance indicators for each communications channel that will indicate a campaign's level of success, and provide reports.
  • Represent the organization at events.
  • Draft internal communications protocols and procedures.
  • Oversee Club 33 photo library and manage archival communication and marketing materials.
  • Develop and execute a results-driven, multi-platform communications strategy aligned with the corporate and brand direction that supports growth strategies in membership sales, engagement, and brand awareness.
  • Create and manage all marketing materials and collateral in line with brand direction and merchandise sales goals, including graphic design projects, emails, brochures, website, sales scripts, member services protocols, FAQs, etc.

The hiring range for this position is $84,460.00 to $113,300 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
