What you will do:
As a Clinical Contract Manager, you will be involved in the focused activities around the compliance, finance, contracts development activities, under the Clinical Shared Services organization. You’ll use your expertise in US Federal and global compliance, financial and business standards to ensure governance across the clinical services Stryker Neurovascular provides to its customers.
You’ll will need to balance Stryker Neurovascular legal and compliance requirements with our users’ needs, and with our company’s values and when we execute on our new products or clinical services, we do it in full compliance with the laws, regulations, rules, and standards of the places where we do business. In this role, you’ll plan requirements, identify risks, manage schedules, and communicate clearly with all project and clinical stakeholders on contract management. The Clinical Contract Manager will be an individual contributor that can:
- Provide standardization for Clinical’s Global business operations. This includes involvement in legal contracts, business/financial negotiations, other binding agreements.
- Communicate schedules, priorities, and status to all levels in the company.
- Responsible for ensuring contract meets and supports Clinical Affairs Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Provide training and overall guidance to on the clinical affairs organization on contracts and financial requirements.
- Manage programs/projects, defining milestones and success criteria, resource allocation and successful on-time delivery.
- Negotiate, structure, and manage clinical contractual documents that establish business relationships with vendors, customers and/or partners.
- Coordinate, manage, and facilitate business processes to provide timely deliverables.
- Identify, assess, and advise on business risks and controls to a variety of stakeholders and customers.
- Demonstrate high level of involvement in continuous improvement of quality assurance philosophy and practices to ensure the highest standards are maintained.
What you need:
- Medical device, clinical research, and clinical contract experience preferred
- 6+ years of applicable experience in legal contracts, conducting business/financial negotiations, and other binding agreements required
- Demonstrated understanding of laws, regulations, standards, and guidance governing the conduct of clinical studies, well as preparation of clinical documentation in support of regulatory submissions preferred
- Juris Doctor Degree required
- Current and working knowledge in interpretation/implementation of government and other local state/government regulations/requirements governing the ability required
- Bachelor’s Degree required; Bachelor’s Degree in health/science-related field preferred
$95,100 to $204,000 salary plus bonus eligible + Benefits (Health, Vision, Dental, 401k, Tuition Reimbursement, Employee Assistance Program, Wellbeing Program, Employee Stock Purchase Program). This information reflects the anticipated salary range for this position based on current national data. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
