SEARCH MANDATE: Our private equity client is seeking the right Chief Executive Officer to lead one of its portfolio companies, an Internet of Things (IoT) product manufacturing business. The sponsor is bullish about its investment thesis in this newly established platform. They are prepared to invest heavily to drive the company's scale using both inorganic and organic methods.

COMPENSATION: A competitive salary, annual bonus, and wealth-building equity grant make for a compelling economic opportunity.

THE COMPANY:

• Deal Structure: Control buyout
• Revenue Range: $75mm-$100mm
• End Market: Distributors and System Integrators selling into Municipalities (DOTs)
• Business Model: Electro-mechanical manufacturing
• Hold Period: 4-5 years

INVESTMENT THESIS: Transform the business and drive scale within 4-5 years

• Acquire add-ons that will add scale, product, cross-sell, and multiple arbitrage
• Integrate existing acquisitions under this holding company
• Transform this recently formed company into a powerful platform business

THE SPONSOR: The private equity firm has a solid history of scaling businesses. Its sector specialties include Industrial, Medical, Aerospace, and Defense markets. Today, the sponsor owns 14 portfolio companies and has over $1B in cumulative capital commitments.

CANDIDATE PROFILE: We seek a passionate, committed leader with a contagious will to win who can honor this company's past while also leading it into the future. Our ideal candidate's background most likely includes:

• Business Model: Manufacturing experience required; electronics manufacturing experience preferred
• M&A: Integration experience required
• Functional: CEO or President of a $75mm-$250mm manufacturing company OR number-two or division P&L leader within a larger enterprise responsible for $250mm-$900mm in revenue
• Private Equity: Preferred but not required
• Orientation: Heavy commercial orientation with related experience across strategy and operations
• Tenure: 20-30+ years of progressive career success
