Job Description

We are looking to recruit a US Division CEO for an in-space manufacturing start-up, to drive the business development and revenue growth of the company. It is vital this CEO has an excellent in-space community network and has strong understanding of P&L, experience building new teams and bringing together a diverse group and leading them to success.

The ideal candidate will have experience dealing with Government contracts and NASA contracts, and this is essential for the CEO of US in an in-space manufacturing start-up because it demonstrates an understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities that come with working with these entities. It also shows an ability to navigate complex regulations and requirements, which is critical for success in this innovative niche within the Space industry.

Additionally, having experience with government and NASA contracts can help the General Manager build relationships and partnerships with these entities, which can provide access to funding and other resources that are crucial for the growth and success of the company. We are looking for strong experience leading a team and you will be managing the daily operation of the business. The GM will be responsible for maintaining the standard of work from employees as well as onboarding and hiring new team members.

Responsibilities

  • Drive development of employees and collaborate to bring in new business
  • Manage operations and finances of business including strong P&L experience
  • Ensure that quality of work or service is maintained
  • Recruit and train new hires on business practices and have autonomy to build out a new team
  • Provide leadership and develop a strategy alongside the Founder


Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to lead in a start-up environment
  • Have an excellent Space Industry network
  • Strong communications skills
  • Expertise in Business Development
  • Comfort working with budgets, payroll, revenue and forecasting
