Summary

- Maintain company financial KPIs, forecasting, WIP schedules
- Assure corporate income tax compliance to assure the accurate and timely completion of all corporate income tax returns taking full advantage of all favorable tax codes.
- Experience with budgets, forecasting reports and raising capital for line of credit.
- Establish and maintain systems and controls that verify the integrity of all systems, processes and data, and enhance the company's value.
- Review all contracts for finance terms and conditions and make recommendations on feasibility of terms.
- Additional duties will be assigned on an as-needed basis.
- Respond to COO and CEO requests with accurate and timely work to facilitate their financial needs and ad hoc reporting requests.
- Oversee the activities of the finance department for the accurate and timely dissemination of financial management and business unit reports including, but not limited to, internal and external monthly financial statements and annual audits; and annual and monthly budgets.
- Manage Finance department and office staff. Recruit, train, mentor and ensure the success of direct reports and Project Management team
- Manage relationship with CPA, Banking, Bonding, and other LOBs as necessary.
- Communicate with co-workers, management, clients and others in a courteous and professional manner. Embody KR Wolfe QUEST values in all activities and behavior.
- Experience with billing, invoicing, AIA billing and prevailing wage.
- Manage company certifications by completing necessary filings and recertification processes including, but not limited to: System for Award Management (SAM), Small Business Administration (SBE, SLBE), Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE, WOSB), Contractors Licenses, Duns and Bradstreet (D&B), and Government Services Administration Contract (GSA).
- Knowledge of finance, accounting, payroll, forecasting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
- 5-10 years’ progressive experience in a mid to senior level finance or accounting position.
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or Business with a strong Accounting focus.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Experience in Construction and Government contracts.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience with multi-state taxes and multi-state payroll is a must.
- Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems.
- Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects.
- Ability to create and maintain accounting systems for specialized business units.
- Knowledge of federal and state financial regulations.
- Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections.
