A small manufacturer in the Valley is looking for a CFO to join their team, due to an upcoming retirement. Reporting to the CEO, the CFO will be responsible for being hands on in accounting and finance, adding structure and formal policies to the company, weekly reporting on sales data and cash flow, and cost of labor. To be successful in this CFO role, the CFO will need to have leadership experience, be timely and accurate in their work, and not be afraid to roll up their sleeves. What do you need in this CFO role?

• Must have supervisory experience
• Must have experience working in an inventory-related environment
• 20+ years of accounting and finance experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related degree
• Advanced Excel

What will you do in this CFO role?

• Provide financial insights and recommendations
• Develop and implement financial strategies and plans
• Analyze variances, trends, benchmarks, and competitor performance to identify opportunities and risks
• Analyze financial statements and review financial reporting
• Prepare budgeting and forecasts
• Identify KPIs to driver performance
• Collaborate with other departments and develop relationships with external stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, laws, and reporting
• Advise and lead a small team
• Risk management and implement internal controls
