Tres L.A. Group is in search of a driven, inspired, and motivated Catering Sales Manager to join our team! Somebody results-driven with a passion for hospitality is the ideal candidate for this position!
As a Sales Manager for Tres LA Group, you will play a vital role in driving new sales efforts and coordinating all aspects of the sales process. Your primary responsibility is to target potential clients and nurture existing relationships, ensuring the growth and success of our catering brand. With a focus on delivering outstanding client service and executing successful events, you will work closely with the event production team, other sales team personnel, and other key stakeholders to maximize sales and revenue.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of market trends, competition, and customer preferences, utilizing your sales savvy and hospitality expertise.
- Discuss contract requirements with clients and ensure their needs are met throughout the sales process.
- Generate revenue by establishing new accounts and booking repeat business while consistently maintaining high service quality.
- Review event invoices for accuracy and approve payment, ensuring all financial transactions are handled efficiently.
- Establish account information, call on major contacts, and consistently promote Tres LA Group's catering services.
- Conduct post-event evaluations to identify areas for improvement and enhance the planning process for future events.
- Partner with the Event Production and Culinary teams to schedule and conduct tastings, providing essential support to close deals successfully.
- Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction and that all sales agreements and function contracts are executed seamlessly.
- Arrange tours of venues and organize tastings/pitch meetings for potential clients to attend with other necessary Tres LA personnel.
- Proactively pursue leads and maintain existing accounts through various means, including telephone solicitation, outside sales calls, venue tours, and written communication.
- Regularly engage with key venue operators, wedding planners, social contacts, and industry partners to build and maintain strong relationships.
- Book, sell, and coordinate all special social events, guaranteeing the highest level of client service is provided.

Requirements
- Up-to-date with current food & beverage trends and best practices.
- Three to five years of industry sales experience
- Guest-oriented and service-minded with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences.
- Ability to manage personnel and meet financial targets.
- Proven experience in management and sales.
- Proficient in various computer software programs, including MS Office, Excel, and Google Docs.
- Strong problem-solving and leadership skills, able to resolve issues efficiently.
- Familiarity with office software and phone systems
- Knowledge of food & beverage and the catering industry
**$70,000 base salary. Projected earnings for this position range from $100,000-$200,000 (OTE) depending on the drive and success of the candidate**

Salary: $100,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
