Your role at Clorox:
As the Category Sales Planning Manager on Food you will develop (within the business unit Studio) and deploy (to the field) national, cross-channel, category growth driving customer strategy and business plans and development of our Category Vision. 75% internal facing, 25% external facing.

In this role, you will:
  • Studio Operations: Manage ongoing daily operations of the studio, serving as the primary contact for sales and collaborating with Customer Sales Planning team to navigate risks and opportunities.
  • Long Range Planning & Innovation: Owns customer input to deliver 3 year Long Range Plan, including development of BU’s strategy, aligning goals and developing plans. Collaborate with Innovation team to plan, develop and commercialize innovation pipeline to meet LRP goals.
  • Net Revenue Management: Develop and drive execution of full scope NRM plans, including strategic pricing and national reduced revenue funding plan development and deployment.
  • Category Vision: Single source for how the category will change based on changing/growing consumption and purchase habits.
  • S&OP/S&OE: Minimize forecast error and improve financial planning via IBP. Sales lead on the Food BU pilot of new machine learning based S&OP process (Project Iris).
  • National Customer Business Plan: Development and deployment (including required immersions) of national 12-18mo. customer plan.
  • Coaches, develops, empowers team members as appropriate. Develop individual capabilities to promote.
What we look for:
  • 5+ years of CPG experience, :25% Travel, and BS/BA Degree
  • Clorox/equivalent Business Unit and Customer (Preferably Leading Edge Retailer) Experience
  • Knowledgeable in innovation processes, S&OP/OE, Sales analytics tools (IRI, Panel, Rapid), Categories/Brands, Retail Marketplace, Category Selling and Negotiation, Customer Business Planning
  • Preferably has proficiency in People Management, Sr. Leadership Communication/Influence, Cross Functional Knowledge/Influence, Financial Acumen

Based on the breadth of our ranges, most new hires will start at Clorox in the first half of the applicable range. Your starting pay will depend on job-related factors, including relevant skills, knowledge, experience and location. The applicable salary range for every role in the U.S. is based on your work location and is aligned to one of three zones according to the cost of labor in your area.
–Zone A: $116,700 - $229,800
–Zone B: $107,000 - $210,700
–Zone C: $97,200 - $191,500
