Associate Category Manager Jobs

Our client, a large broadcast media company is urgently looking to hire a Marketing Project Manager to join their team in Los Angeles, CA

** This is a 3 month contract with the potential to extend or convert FTE***

Responsibilities

1. Day to day management of specific licensing partnerships in the multi-category space including collaborating on consumer products programs that align with each property’s set objectives in order to drive revenue. Assigned categories include Outdoor/Seasonal, Pet and Consumer Electronics.

2. Successfully negotiate licensing agreements from initial proposal through execution

3. Partner with the franchise and CP teams to align product line plans and product development with overall brand strategies

4. Effectively manage financial forecasting process and track ongoing business

5. Work closely with the North America retail sales team to maximize opportunities at consumer level

6. Collaborative role interacts with various teams across the organization including Legal, Finance, Franchise and Retail

Qualifications

1. Collaborative, team player must have minimum of 1 year category management experience

2. Familiarity with licensed consumer products contract terms

3. Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills

4. Strategic thinker with proven ability to work well in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment
