Category Lead Jobs

Our client, a leader in the Utilities industry, is currently searching for a Category Lead to join their hybrid team in Columbus, Ohio! This role is responsible for driving strategic sourcing initiatives and managing enterprise supplier relationships. You will work on category planning while analyzing performance.

***This role is a 12-Month W-2 Contract to Start***

Responsibilities:

• Build partnerships with key stakeholders and business partners.
• Establish, facilitate, and support cross-functional category management teams to develop and maintain category plans and performance.
• Develop plans to capture identified opportunities.
• Develop spend/performance and external market analyses to identify performance improvement opportunities.
• Develop and maintain supplier ratings and relationships.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• 3+ years of experience in procurement, logistics, and/or supply chain.
• Strong background in category management and strategic sourcing practices.
• Proven experience managing large supplier agreements.
• Certified Procurement Manager (CPM) preferred.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required; MBA preferred.
