JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying software solutions across multiple disciplines (UI, API, Mobile, Web, Cloud, etc.). Utilizes MAUI framework to create applications for iOS and Android. Operates in an Agile software development team, adheres to industry and company standards and architectures. Performs at a team level, contributes technical knowledge, and guides development scope as applied across multiple technology disciplines.

ESSENTIAL/PRIMARY DUTIES:

• Actively participates in feature and story creation in the product backlog​
• Engages and communicates with a variety of stakeholders: product owners, developers, software architects, and end-users​
• Conducts hands-on, rapid prototyping and product development across software platforms​
• Conducts full-stack design, development, configuration, testing, and deployment. Mobile software solutions comprising of multiple software development disciplines (Mobile, UI, API, etc.)
• Creates and maintains technical documentation
• Identifies and documents development standards
• Continuously learns and applies industry best practices on modern software delivery practices
• Supports products and services in production​
• Mentors, guides, and coaches software developers across multiple disciplines and execution frameworks
• Defines, codes, and applies automated tests within the pipeline release cycle​

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in computer science, information technology, engineering, or related field, or 2-year associates degree with 2 or more years of relevant work experience. 3 or more years of mobile application development experience. 2 or more years of experience developing software across multiple software disciplines (UI, API, Mobile, etc.)​.

COMPETENCY/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

• Technical leadership abilities: working independently and as part of a cohesive team in a fast-paced and dynamic technical environment
• Ability to research new concepts and suggest innovative designs that balance requirements with technology standards​
• Xamarin/MAUI experience will shorten the learning curve
• Continuous integration and delivery to include structured software testing practices (automated & manual)
• Android and/or iOS application development
  • Xamarin/MAUI experience will shorten the learning curve
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of software development patterns, logic algorithms, languages, data structures, scalability, and best practices in cloud-based software and systems development​
• Cloud-based applications and services development​ with working knowledge of multiple programming languages applied in cloud/edge solutions
• Ability to exhibit Agile principles and Scrum values in the delivery of increments with proficiency in DevOps execution (build, deploy, support)
• Analytical skills that aid in reaching product goals and quarterly outcomes​
• Ability to influence, develop and maintain applied software architectures​ and experience developing scalable solutions and pipelines​
