As a Business System Analyst, you will be responsible for helping Donaldson achieve the expansion of our electronic ordering initiatives and continuous improvement objectives. You will be working with customers and 3rd party providers in translating business requirements into functional specifications, maintaining relationships with the business, and driving standard business processes across the organization. The EDI Business Analyst should have an understanding of business priorities and the relative importance of their projects.

Role Responsibilities:
  • Provides some ad hoc daily system/package support.
  • This includes software package solutions like EDI / Oracle e-Commerce Gateway, ERP, CRM, Oracle BI Tool, and others.
  • Prepares communications, project plans and makes presentations on system/package enhancements and/or alternatives.
  • Leverage background in Order to Cash processes to act as a liaison between the IT development group and business units for the requirements definition, evaluation, design, development, and implementation of new processes and system enhancements, configurations and customizations of existing systems Conduct thorough business process analysis to understand existing workflows and systems, document current processes and systems, recommends appropriate systems alternatives and/or enhancements to current systems, create requirements for new processes, develop use cases, and manage requirement changes.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 2 years of business systems analysis.
  • Experience with an integrated ERP system (Ex. Oracle, SAP).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Demonstrate IT knowledge and expertise in the areas being developed or enhanced.
  • Prior expertise in one or more of Oracle ERP key applications - Order-to-Cash (OTC) or Oracle e-Commerce Gateway is ideal.
  • Efficient organizational skills with ability to manage multiple requests simultaneously.
  • Written and verbal communication skills with ability to adapt between non-technical and technical audience.
  • Demonstrate strong collaboration, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • EDI Standards (such as ANSI ASC X12 and EDIFACT), XML File and Flat File knowledge of supply chain documents such as 850/ORDERS, 855/ORDRSP, 830/DELFOR, 856/DESADV and 810/INVOIC preferred.
