Business Strategy & Insights Consultant

DESCRIPTION

The Business Strategy & Insights Consultant is responsible for developing data-driven insights for customers in both pre- and post-sales to demonstrate value and supporting both new sales and renewals. This position will work closely with the commercial team to understand client priorities and needs, act as translator between customer relationship owners and data teams to best craft the value story, and tailor metrics according to customer needs. The ideal candidate for this role will have strong analytical skills, a good understanding of customer behavior and experience working with commercial teams in a B2B healthcare environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Leverage learnings and best practices from current business to expand and scale similar capabilities into other parts of the business.
• Partner with Sales and Account Management teams to develop and present comprehensive, value-driven insights and actionable intelligence for Verily’s most strategic clients and partnerships.
• Collaborate with colleagues on cross-functional analytics teams (e.g. Product, Clinical, Marketing, Data Science) to best leverage all available analyses and communicate value to clients.
• Tackle complex and ambiguous problems with a strategic and entrepreneurial mindset.
• Work closely with Business Intelligence and data teams to define key performance metrics for standard reporting, visualizations and dashboards, as well as customized metrics across Verily’s product portfolio per internal and external needs.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum qualifications:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience presenting to clients, partners and stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree.
• 5-7 years of experience in a business analytics or similar role, in a healthcare B2B environment.
• Outstanding analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in healthcare consulting or healthcare analytics.
• Experience interpreting and presenting statistical analyses.
• Understanding of pharma/life sciences, payer, and/or provider spaces. #LI-KK1

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $104,000-$161,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
