Business Process Analyst, Finance

Role Description
In this new role reporting to the Head of the Finance Program Management Office (PMO) you will play a critical role in optimizing our organization's operational efficiency and effectiveness. You will be responsible for analyzing existing business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and drive sustainable growth. You will work with Finance leaders across various domains and geographies to understand current workflows, identify pain points and implement policy, process, data, and automation recommendations.
This role sits within Finance and will require close collaboration with Finance stakeholders and engineering teams. This is a hybrid position that can be based in either Los Angeles or Los Gatos and offers the flexibility to work remotely part of the time. Occasionally travel may be required to other office locations, including internationally.
Responsibilities

• Manage negotiations between teams and across organizational lines to promote the most effective and consistent global solutions.
• Facilitate workshops with stakeholders to understand process pain points and recommend the best combination of process reengineering and automation to deliver the most value.
• Conduct comprehensive analysis of current business processes, including gathering and documenting requirements, workflows, and data flows using standard business process modeling (BPM) techniques.
• Perform root cause analysis to identify solutions that address the true source of issues.
• Partner with Solution Engineers to determine project feasibility, level of effort and ROI.
• Contribute to the overall maturity of the function through development of tools/templates and by providing education to peers and business partners.
• Influence policy and process decisions to effectively utilize existing applications without the need for customization or automation when it makes sense.
• Determine the prioritization of automation opportunities across various Finance teams and manage the automation pipeline.
• Work with business stakeholders to identify workflow inefficiencies and automation opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience with robotic process automation, machine learning and intelligent document automation
• Experience with Order to Cash, Procure to Pay and Record to Report processes
• 5+ years in business process analysis and business process engineering
• Demonstrated expertise in providing process recommendations and standardizing global processes
• Business Process Management certification a plus
• Proficiency using Visio and/or BPM tools
• Lean Six Sigma knowledge is an advantage
