Your Opportunity:
Varsity Spirit is looking for an Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team in Memphis, TN.
Make an Impact:
A Business Intelligence Analyst, collects data about an organization's operations to improve its systems and processes. The primary duties include researching business processes, making reports with recommendations to the company's management and analyzing the potential impact of the recommendations and act as facilitator and mediator for all business systems.

• Providing reports through MS Office applications to improve business processes
• Designing potential solutions to any problems identified during the research phase
• Carrying out periodic quality checks
• Developing comprehensive end-to-end (E2E) test cases at the application and multi-application levels
• Analyzing the structure of a business to determine how it operates and its objectives
• Preparing and delivering a report of the findings to leadership with comprehensive risk and impact assessment
• Developing and managing business intelligence solutions

Intern Responsibilities

• Transformation: Partner with Strategy Team to translate insights into action plans through project management, presentations, and PowerPoints decks.
• Corporate Strategy: Work with Strategy Team to identify key growth opportunities and conduct analyses to answer strategic questions. This may include assisting with projects focused on growing Varsity Spirit’s addressable market, creating additional operating leverage, or identifying new opportunities for collaboration.
• Analytics: Conduct analyses and draw data-driven conclusions by employing quantitative / modeling concepts, drawing insight for Sales, Operations, Marketing, Finance, and others.

Qualifications

• No prior experience in cheerleading, dance, or performing arts required.
• Teambuilding/people development orientation to build and retain strong relationships & teams.
• Excellent written, email, & verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• High-level of professionalism and business acumen.
• Ability to anticipate problems and create effective solutions.
• Accountability and follow through to meet business objectives.
• Time management and organization skills to prioritize multiple tasks/projects.
• Proficient in MS Office, presentation creation, and storytelling.

Physical Demands and/or Work Environment
This job operates primarily in a professional office environment and uses standard office equipment such as computers and phones.
Travel
Potential opportunity to travel up to 10% of time, but not required.
Education, Certification, and Experience: Rising Junior or Senior pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field preferred, but not required.
