Job Description

IOA is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst IOA at its San Francisco, CA headquarter office. Reporting to IOA’s Sr. Director of BI, the BI Analyst will provide in-depth business analysis and develop sustainable analytic solutions. The BI Analyst supports business decisions and operational processes and develops partnerships with business data users.
Key duties and responsibilities of the position include, but may not be limited to the following:
  • Working with Director and Sr BI Analysts, determine the best analytic solution to meet specific program needs
  • Apply the BI Quality Assurance (QA) process to ensure accuracy in reporting; Participate in QA review of teamwork and provide relevant information for reviewers of your work
  • Document report/processes/ logic and actively participate in department’s efforts to improve collective knowledge base
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to understand, gather and document business requirements for reporting and data projects
  • Proven experience integrating data from multiple disparate sources for reporting and working with complex datasets
  • Design reports, visualizations and dashboards that highlight key trends in the business; Understand critical business performance drivers
Main Areas of Responsibility
Data Improvement and Data Quality Initiatives
  • Foundational data projects to increase availability of organizational and program data for reporting
Partnership with the Business
  • Collaborate with and support IOA’s program teams to improve accessibility to data and increase knowledge of their program data
Analytics and Dashboards
  • Tailoring solutions to program or department
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Excellent organizational and presentation skills, including the ability to communicate complex issues in an effective manner
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in healthcare data, reporting and analytics or relevant field
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
  • Technical skills: Intermediate level skills in Microsoft Excel, Tableau and PowerPoint
  • 1-3 years reporting tool development experience (Power BI prefered)
  • Ability to see organizational perspective and strategic view
  • Strong critical thinking, analytic and problem-solving competencies
  • Familiarity with data management concepts such as data lineage/lifecycle and data warehousing
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Informatics, Analytics, or another related discipline.
DESIRED QUALIFICATION
  • NetSuite and Adaptive experience
  • Tableau development experience
  • Home Health software experience
  • Project Management experience or familiar with PM concepts
  • SQL Management Studio and SQL query experience
COMPENSATION
  • Range: $ 100,000.00 - 120,000.00/annual
