Business Development and Operations Lead – Healthcare Recruitment
Where? Can we anywhere in the CT or ET time zones, Texas, Florida, Massachusetts, the Carolinas, New York, etc. This role will initially be remote but will eventually be office based in a location TBC. Will require travel for client meetings.
Salary? This role pays up to $150k on the base and uncapped commission + share options.
The client.
A British business who’re about to celebrate their 10th birthday have had an epic first decade of trading. They have 5+ offices in the UK and employ over 100 staff and have achieved year on year growth since inception. They specialise in recruiting all things temp within the healthcare space in the UK.
The role.
This will be their 1st and 2nd hire in the US and the successful candidate(s) will be tasked with setting up a US business focused on locum nurses and other healthcare sectors from scratch. Furthermore, you will build an office around you and eventually multiple regional offices to serve this massive sector.
Candidate requirements include but are not limited to:
- People with candidate delivery only experience will not be considered.
- 5+ years’ experience in a Business Development or full-desk focused recruitment role in the healthcare sector.
- Ability to run a desk and win new business from cold as well as farming existing business.
- Operational experience – setting up processes and procedures and knowing the ins and outs of state-by-state law around temporary workers.
- Team management experience.
- Entrepreneurial spirit and clout.
- Intricate knowledge of the temporary healthcare recruitment sector in the US.
