Job Title: Business Analyst

Client: Meta

Contract Duration: 12 Months with the possibility for extensions

Location: Remote must be able to work EST hours

Shift: Mon- FRI

Desired Start time: June/July

Pay Rate Range: $60-$65 an hour Max

• Experience using Python for data manipulation, ETL.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant technical or business/sales reporting & analytics experience
• Experience with SQL systems preferred

As a Business Analyst in the Reality Labs Sales Analytics team, you will lead the development of reporting, and insights to amplify the performance of the commercial sales team. Projects you own may relate to sales cycle optimization, lead prioritization, funnel reporting, forecasting, or a variety of other domains supporting sales teams. You’ll get to dive deep into the Meta Reality Lab product funnel in order to optimize sales and customer engagement.

Responsibilities

Provide business requirements and collaborate with internal teams on data capture strategy that will support accurate reporting and insights on sales pattern and consumer behavior

Define key sales performance metrics

Create reports and self-service dashboards to provide ongoing insight to business stakeholders, support sales leadership in making effective, analytically driven, strategic decisions

Perform ad-hoc and in-depth analyses and then report/present insights

Drive initiatives to improve reporting capabilities

Explore new data sources to add signals to existing reporting

Automate reporting via SQL and python based ETL framework

Minimum Qualifications

BS Degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Finance and other quantitative areas.

3-5 years experience in commercial sales/business reporting & analytics.

Proficiency in querying and manipulating complex raw datasets for analysis. Strong SQL skills.

Proficiency in data visualizations and dashboards.

A great communicator and story teller — must be able to explain technical concepts and analysis implications clearly to varied audiences and be able to translate business objectives into actionable analyses.

Effective at working independently and as a member of a cross functional team.

Preferred Qualifications

MS Degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Finance and other quantitative areas.

1-2 Years supporting SaaS enterprise sales.

Experience using Python for data manipulation, ETL.

• Experience with data modeling techniques, such as classification, clustering, linear regression, time series, etc.
