Business Analyst Jobs

This position is hybrid remote 4x / onsite 1x per week in downtown Phoenix, AZ 85007.

Overview:

The Business Analyst will aid our client on a project creating a public health data portal to act as a repository for public health datasets. The public health data portal will act as a landing page for internal staff, the public, and local health officials seeking access to public health related datasets and other data of public health significance such as population denominators.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Business Analyst experience
• Experience with systems analysis and design, business process modeling, requirements gathering, quality assurance, and software development
• Extremely consistent organization and documentation capabilities, including workflow diagrams, standard operating procedures, user documentation, end user training, etc.
• Advanced experience working with multiple, diverse and high-level stakeholders as well as the IT partners
• Strong experience working on heavily data related projects (Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Data Governance, Enterprise Data Management, etc.)

Preferred:

• Google experience
• PMP
• Scrum Master
• AWS cloud background experience
• Lean Six Sigma

Responsibilities:

• Identify opportunities for use of solutions to improve
• Support the company's data modernization and data governance projects
• Create documentation including workflow diagrams, standard operating procedures, user documentation, and end-user training
• Create and manage demands, gather requirements, analysis, create functional and technical requirements, documentation, etc.
• Establish best practices for requirements gathering, management, and tracking, facilitating JAD sessions, interviews, and other requirements gathering meetings, producing functional and non-functional requirements, visual process and project artifacts, training materials, or other documentation as needed.
• Work closely with the PM to elicit requirements from key stakeholders, which include; hospital executive leadership, medical and administrative professionals, and subject matter experts.
• Engage with data experts, Data Analysts, senior leadership, developers, UX designers, quality assurance, and business intelligence resources to ensure that the customers' needs are forefront in the project.
