Your Role

WMS Data Analyst

As a WMS Data Analyst, you'll collaborate closely with our Warehouse Operations Team to assess collect, process, and perform statistical analysis of data and move it into a usable form, by use of models, charts, graphs, and tables, tracking across specific amounts of time or various departments. The goal is to reach simpler, smarter conclusions using your technical expertise

What You’ll Be Doing

Essential Functions

• Ability to assist in creating pricing models for pricing negotiations
• Prepare and assist with presentations for monthly and quarterly business reviews with customer executives
• Verify data quality to ensure accurate analysis and reporting
• Monitor data management processes to ensure data quality and consistency
• Support and partner with teams across the enterprise
• Proficiency in MS Office, experience with ERP, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and report writing
• Contribute to data dictionary, standards, training, and ongoing updates
• Create and present reports to management team members to support recommendations.
• Conduct feasibility studies, review computer systems capabilities, workflow, schedule limitations, and assist in planning or developing new systems or modifying existing to improve
• Troubleshoots and resolves support requests related to the WMS or any related systems
• Communicate insights and recommendations effectively to the broader team
• Interfaces with the Operations Team to review operating procedures to maximize system efficiencies
• Collect, process, and perform statistical analysis of data and translate the numbers into a layman's terms
• Utilize data to make actionable recommendations at all levels
• Help identify the business data needed to produce the most useful insights and future analytics
• Experience with Sage X3, Sage Enterprise Intelligence, Tableau a plus; TransPak utilizes Sage ERP software, however experience directly with this software is not required
• Able to perform ad-hoc reporting as needed
• Work with internal IT and ERP departments to ensure that hardware, software, and network needs are met to accomplish project goals
• Research and use raw data to support and exceed customer expectations
• Regulate, normalize, calibrate data, and extract information that can be used alone or with other numbers to create charts, graphs, tables, and graphics to explain what the data means across specific amounts of time or various departments
• Work with business partners, primarily operations, to assess business process needs and/or areas of improvements. Support/lead assigned initiatives related to warehouse management data collection, integration of data with ERP system data, development of standardized reporting and associated analytics
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives through data acquisition, data analysis, and metrics development and reporting
• Monitor integrations between WMS and ERP to ensure seamless data exchange between systems. Also, monitor system performance, data integrity and usage metrics

What We’d Like to See from You

Required Qualifications

• Experience creating reports and dashboards
• 2-4 years of WMS experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis (formulas, pivot tables, charts, etc.)
• Self-motivated problem solver with strong critical thinking skills, time management skills and attention to detail

Highly Desired Qualifications

• Ability to use and navigate multiple data storage sites and ERP systems
• Tableau and PowerBI
• Materials Handling Equipment experience
• Experience with Reports in Monday.com
• WMS/Sage Super User experience
